It's the loneliest feeling in the world - to find yourself standing up while everyone else is sitting down. To have everyone look at you and say, "what's the matter with her?" ... I know what it feels like. Walking down the street and listening to the sound of your footsteps... Shutters closed, blinds drawn, doors locked against you; And you just aren't sure whether or not you're walking toward something or if you're just walking away. It's like I realized that way down inside of me I've always been lonely for something.. But I don't know what for. It's like everyone in the world wants something; only they never really know exactly what it is - they just keep finding out what it's not. You know how when you turn the TV off or you walk out of some concert, and everything just feels empty? Like you thought it would be what you wanted, and it wasn't? I've never really understood why you have enough time to go out and make girls fall in love with you, but you don't have enough time to pay attention to the one who already does, but love is complicated these days. That's why I like playing games with people, and I keep hoping someone will be smart enough to see through me; but you're all so stupid! You all see who I appear to be, but only a few know the real me. You only see what I chose to show, and baby; there's so much behind this smile you don't know. So take it from someone who's fallen, it's a long way down.
