Too many to mention! I like anything that tells a good story. If I am renting a movie for myself I tend to get period pieces because I really like to get lost in another world.

Deadwood or Dead like Me-we rent things on DVD when they come out as we don't have TV/cable.

I like all kinds of music from Classical to Rock to Jazz.

Cookbooks (I really like to collect cook books), The Secret Life of Bees, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, Living by the Word Selected Writings of Alice Walker, The Color Purple, The World of Pooh, Anne of Green Gables, Father of the Four Passages, The Shell Collector, Still Life with Woodpecker, Ishi In Two Worlds.
