Something You Should Know About Me
Who am I? Now I suppose it would be ones indication not to be biased in describing himself or herself in an outsider’s perspective. This would be proved difficult considering the fact that people in general would usually not deliberately belittle themselves, no discriminate oneself among strangers. However, I intend to be very forthcoming and honest with this description of myself and with little excuses if not none in doing so.
I’ll start with saying that I am generally concerning if it’s related to personal issues with life if confronted. This is die with the amplitude of empathy I have developed over the course of my life. I can’t say how or when I suddenly obtained my attribute of positive and optimistic ways of life. It just sort of just, “happened”. With that are joined with comical punch-lines it would seem to even the more negative situations to at least make a slight joke of any bad circumstance. Sometimes in poor taste, but I would declare it’s usually in good taste.
My interests are vast and aberrant, considering what will always intrigue me. For one is Folklore. I’m not sure there’s truly a classification as a define hobby, but if were to make up such a word, I would say I am a Folklorist. I find that folklore in all culture has some truth in the stories, capturing some history and beliefs. Medieval Era does captivate me as well; in it’s time of the methods of craftsmanship and Feudalism.
Moving into my Sci-fi interested, I can’t help but pick up any reference material that refers to the idea and stories of Artificial Intelligence. As the whole I thought of any suggestion of such a creation, I can’t help but intertwine religious belief into it. Where I often ask the question, “Could what we create, in an act of playing God, would it ever have a soul?”
Japan will always hold my heart in this world. From; history, to it’s language, lifestyles, and even art. I find my beloved travels going in that direction someday. As to even it’s people that it’s land hold, I find it’s a subject so vastly interesting and brilliant that I could never let it go. Tradition captivates me, and holds me into traditionally loving the country.
Music. There you have it, music. Like most people I have an interest in music as well, which I have picked up playing a couple of instruments in my life. First it was the drums in high school, and then the acoustic guitar. Right now I’m still learning to play the guitar as I have a lot to learn, but as many guitar legends would often say, “You’ll never learn everything there is to know about the guitar, but only the love of playing it and creating music.”
Being a little observative, I would say I’m a watcher of people. Looking for patterns, learning what their goals are, catching every mannerism they use. This won’t create an ideal notion of who you really are, but I take dozen’s of notes and capturing what kind of person you are around someone like me and what it is that moves you to your ways of thinking. I would often say that my observations are truly at times, my vice.
I think this takes care of most of what I could describe as me, but me in a nutshell. For now anyway, but tell me if should look at some of my descriptions more carefully and what changes I should make because you really feel I’m something else. I’d really like to know, and to why it is you believe it. Thanks!
