Something You Should Know About Me
Hey. I'm Alex from Illinois. I'm an aspiring writing so I spend the majority of my time either reading, writing, or being a total nerd and looking up words in the dictionary (don't judge me, I'm lame I know). But when I'm not doing that I'm probably watching a movie, playing guitar, or listening to music. I really don't know what I want to do with the rest of my life...I just hope it has something to do with writing. I'm completely obsessed with the Beatniks (especially Ginsberg and Kerouac) along with James Baldwin, Kurt Vonnegut, Franz Kafka, Dostoevsky, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Richard Yates, and Ernest Hemingway. I'm also a poetry buff.....so Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Richard Brautigan, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Edgar Allan Poe, Saul Williams, William Blake, William Carlos Williams, and Gregory Corso.
