23 yrs ago I was diagnosed with HIV, just over 13 yrs ago I was told I have Full Blown AIDS. If I had rolled over and died everytime a Dr. told me I was going to be dead in a few weeks, I would have died yrs. ago. Joe & I were Married in Jax Fla. in 1998 We moved to Charlotte North Carolina, in 2000. We have two Cute doggies. 1 is a Chuhuahua (his name is Lil Man) 2, a Beagle&something mix (her name is Roxi) We have raised two children together. Both are Teachers in the Public school system....under paid, and Over worked...as Alll teachers are lately.
I have been Hiv/AIDS Poz for Over 20 yrs. I have taken every FDA Approved drug avail (and some that aren't) over the yrs. We have come to the decission that its time to just stop, and enjoy the time I have left, without being sick From the drugs! I have an account on Youtube, its under the same name "Belger143" that explains what I do on a daily basis as far as the AIDS drugs, and the IV treatments every two weeks (that last 3 days, 8 hrs each day) I have made the choice to go with HOSPICE and stop all aids drugs and just let things take thier course. As an Atheist, I have no worries about where I go or what happends. I am Rational....and I do know that the end is truley the end. I do not want or even LIKE ppl asking how I feel, or how things are ging, mainly because I want to tell them the truth and that usualy leads to alot of hugging and crying. I am beyond that point. I have accepted what will happen next, and it may sound strange, if you don't know someone or go thru this yourself, for this long, But I Know I will be Happy to end all this pain and enjoy the time WE have left, without being sick from the drugs.

I am here because I think it is important that others see that an athiest can die with Dignity, and without " Jumping the track" in the end and claiming to have some FAITH in a SKY DADDY. I have learned alot from the Rathional Responders, but I do not think there is a place there for people who Seriously want to talk about such topics in a Mature manner. I have some very Radical Ideas as to how the word of NO GOD can and should be spread and how we can and do play a very important roll in that mission, Friends, Inlightened Thinking, Open Minded PPL,
and just plain fun.
