But don't confuse yourself, I don't see being a geek as a bad thing. In fact, truly being a geek should be considered a badge of honor. It means you have a achieved a level of dedication to something, despite what the mainstream of society deems "normal"....

The Blues Brothers, The Evil Dead series, The Quiet Man, To Kill A Mockingbird, Kevin Smith movies, the Halloween series, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribean, Ghostbusters, Shrek, Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie, older horror movies, comic book movies (but you'd be surprised what movies fit into that category), The Great Dictator, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Bubba Ho-Tep, The Commitments, Young Frankenstein, Donnie Darko, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Animal House, National Lampoon's Vacation, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Dr. Phibes Rises Again!, anytime I stumble across a John Hughes movie on TV I'm probably going to watch it, especially Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, and Ferris Beuler's Day Off, O' Brother Where Art' Thou, random zombie movies are always fun, Spider-Man 1&2, M. Knight Shymalan movies, Tarantino movies (except Jackie Brown, that sucked), Serenity, King Kong, the old Universal Monster movies: Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Wolf Man, and more and more that it would be space prohibitive.
Favorite TV Shows:
Mystery Science Theater 3000, Ghost Hunters, Firefly, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, [adult swim], Mythbusters, Iron Chef, X-Play, WWE Monday Night RAW (it's a guilty pleasure), Smallville, and any random show on Discovery, TLC, Food Network, the Travel Channel, or the History Channel. I likes me some TV learning.

Blues Traveler, The Blues Brothers, B.B. King, Weird Al Yankovic, They Might Be Giants, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, James Brown, Sam and Dave, a little Hootie & the Blowfish, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, a little Don Henly/The Eagles, a bit of The Beatles, a bit of Elvis, Taj Mahal, The O.C. Supertones are cool, basically anything in the area of Soul, Blues, Rythm and Blues (the good stuff not this new crap), Funk, Rock and Roll, and a little goofy 80's pop will work. There's more, but I can't think of it all now.
Favorite Books:
Lots of Comics, and if you think that's childish then you have no idea what you are talking about and should stop reading my profile now (Current Top 3: Astonishing X-Men, New Avengers, Civil War), The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and in high school I read a few Michael Crichton novels.
