Welcome to the random world of Me, Paul Chater. Just Me, Recent Picture :) At the time of writing I am a 21 year old unemployed computer geek studying my CompTIA A+ / N+ qualification and also OCR iMedia Level 2 Qualification from my parents home in Sunderland, North-East England whilst being on Job Seekers Allowance (At least I’m doing something whilst getting the tax payers money right? :P). I have been working with computers since the tender age of Seven and have always had a very keen interest in every aspect of them from Technical Support to Computer Building right through to Web Development. Another keen interest of mine is playing guitar which I’ve been playing for approximately 10 years but I still can’t pull off a mind blowing solo (although I do try :D). In all the spare time which I have I like listening to various Genre’s of music but mainly Metal / Rock my favourite band at this moment in time is Buckcherry and you’ll see me listening to them down there in my “What I’m rocking out to on Last.fm” list pretty much all the time. My favourite album of all time has to be Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. Every now and again (couple of weeks or so) I like going out on a Monday night with my friends to a rather awesome bar called Bud Bigalows; where I can get rather drunk for a mere Fiver (£5.00 GBP). My favourite alcoholic beverages include Guinness, Jack Daniels, Royal Dutch Advocaat, John Smith’s, Stella Artois, and Sambucca; although I’ve never had Jagermeister this is one drink I’d love to try. With this being said my favourite non-alcoholic beverages include Coffee, Coffee, Coffee, Relentless, Vanilla Coke, Standard Coke (not Pepsi!) and well… Coffee. Now, time to move on to the boring stuff, my qualifications although I do not have many so don’t expect much here. I currently have 3 GCSE’s in Maths, ICT, Design and Technology, my New C.LA.I.T a Level 1 Certificate in Business and Administration, Certificate for Health and Safety (Forgot the proper name of it but it means I can give CPR.) and as stated above I’m studying my CompTIA A+ / N+ qualification so that I can get either a decent paying Job, my own out-sourcing business or possibly move on to University for a Degree in Computers.
