Something You Should Know About Me
Bloody Wounds is a singer/songwriter from York, Pennsylvania. It all began in 2005. With recording a demo track in a home studio in York, PA.
In 2009 Bloody Wounds recorded "This Is Only The Beginning". After a 2 year break Bloody Wounds went back into the studio to record "A New Beginning" which was released in 2011 and followed a short promo tour.
The name Bloody Wounds represents my life and everything I have seen and been through. When Bloody Wounds was 15 years old she saw her first concert. From that night on she knew that music is what she ultimately wanted to do with her life. Though the remaining years of her teen hood were sure to be a dark struggle. After she moved to a new town she found herself consequently in constant fights and being on the outside. After an excessive downward spiral she realized that she only had herself to depend on and a pen and pad to write her songs on. In her early 20's she began writing songs that would soon become meaningful and heartfelt music.
In her mid 20's she was finally ready to step and record and release her first cd. After a span of trubulent years Bloody Wounds sure knows what alot of fighting and struggling can accomplish. Bloody Wounds is looking forward to a much brighter future and accomplishing much more.
