Studying in the arts of electronic music and its culture for the last 7 years, BassCharger has a love for music like no other. Coming from a small town where music had limitations he grew up on hip hop but underneath it all was a craving for something funky and broken, little did he know that his love for electronic music would soon breakthrough. After moving to Calgary and being introduced to a new genre of music in his early 20's he soon found himself overtaken by the sounds of breakbeats and the power of bass. In 2008 BassCharger is a double threat as he can set the pace on the dance floor and behind the decks, with a passion for pushing, and showcasing baselines this up and coming Dj has many plans on the horizon and is on a mission to make the Calgary breaks scene a better place. We live the breakbeat we breathe the breakbeat we sleep the breakbeat.

Mr. Bassline Junk-E known to friends and Breakz R Boss label-mates as Shawn Roussin grew up in a small town in North Western Ontario. Growing up in the 80's in small town Canada he grew fond of the taste for the funkier and early classic raps with flowing MC's and breakbeat patterns. Later indulging in west coast classic rap before Moving to western Canada in his mid 20's where he ran into a new and intreging sound which was called Canadian Funky Breakbeats and Funky Florida Breakbeats in which he grew to love and began to push! In early 2000 bringing his love for breakbeats & bass to a higher level he jumped in the studio with a handful of bootlegs then moving on to his own production in 2002. Mr.BLJ-E now has 15 Unsigned Releases out on his 2 labels, Eh! Productions, and 2 new 2008 releases and a CD Canadian Bassline Junk-E on Breaks R Boss Records coming soon. In 2006 he jumped behind the tables to take his production to the next level, and with Brother/BreakzRBossLabelmate Bass Charger started a weekly show called BREAKZ R BOSS RADIO! 2008 has lots of good things going on for this Canadian native. With 3 releases in early 2008 being hyped on his radioshow and a cd in early summer 2008 you gotta expect an lp in your local record shop soon!
