Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light,not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world,there is nothing inlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us, its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same, as we are liberated from our own fear. Our precence automatically liberates others. As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world,as in being able to remake ourselves. To work in the world lovingly means that we are defining what we will be for, rather than reacting to what we are against. Hate stirs up trouble, but love overlooks all offences. Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways.
