In the early 2000's both were drawn into the same circle of break eats and DJ's. While growing up in the Boston area each developed a style of like and dislike to electronic music, spending hours and hours driving, to different record store in the state to listen and pick through the inventory at hand. Trading and collecting became more of a competition between the two. Only to be battled out on the weekends at a local venue.

For years they battled with mixes, mix-tapes, hands on tricks and fresh wax. Until a day came when the battle was shortened to 2 records a piece! This became a signature for the two... Playing many house parties, raves, clubs and driving them to the motherland of breaks! Florida.

Relocated in 2009 Built in audio has imprinted itself on South Florida as an up and coming act. When they are not spinning high class venues, and enjoying the surroundings, they can be found doing in-house production under their label Mass Appeal.
