The 5 things I love:
Music.
I love music. To me it is the most eloquent way of communicating with others. It runs through my veins. I could not survive without it. It is the only true form of language. I love the feeling from the sounds reverberating through the strings of a guitar.
Dance, I believe dance holds such power and allure. The ability to embody a song and captivate a room with a mere movement, enthralls me. It is the only true form of physical expression.
Without either, there is nothing worth living for.
Beauty is true perfection, but that says nothing of the ill-conceived notion of vanity.
Fashion to me is art you can wear. I love to dress up in clothes that say something. It is hard for me to describe why I like it so much but I think that our clothes do say a lot about who we are for many reasons. It is a clear cut way of saying how much you respect yourself, what your idea is about where you are, who you are, etc.
Art is another. Paint, chalk, charcoal, coloured pencils, pastels, pencil, etc. Art is a way of capturing what we view as our world and putting it down somewhere for others to see. It is how we examine our surroundings and explain them to ourselves. It is beauty and ugliness all wrapped up into one.
Literature. Books are our ways of traveling to other worlds without leaving the comfort of our own homes. We can explore new realms of thinking, culutres, dimensions, etc. It helps broaden our horizons and gives us a taste for what is to come if we just pick up our feet and go out that door. Books hold amazing power.
