Some Stickam users are aware of the corrupted actions that are taking place, although they are not strong enough to care, some have been desensitized to the point that they see the corruptions as acceptable, some think that they can do little because they are just one person, and some are afraid of losing their freedom by increasing security and forget that they are losing their equilibrium, by not being in support of security as well as freedom.

It is possible to ask about TOR links, etc. and acquired a degree of notoriety by becoming one of the most known *chans.
The traffic spikes on the site put the site in danger since its administrators and owners didn't have enough funding to afford bandwidth; the foreseeing of both immediate effects (such as the slow loading of pages) and long-term effects (loss of hosting due to violation of Terms of Service and exceeding bandwidth limit) led the administrators to make the site password-protected, hence forcing visitors to get through the 12chan IRC channel to retrieve valid usernames and passwords.

There are people that just create a stickam account for a short time to use young people. They pretend to be a model scout and say that they select certain people that they like. A person reported that they came across a Karenmodel, they noticed the site had soon been deleted after they had talked to that person. So it would be hard to trace them. There are many creditable model agencies, there are also disturbingly legal agencies, that sell pictures of 5 to 12 year olds wearing thongs, and in swim suits. These pay sites ask for credit cards. That shows that the site is catered to older people, people over 18. It is highly suspicious to pay money to see pictures of a preteen model wearing thongs, swim suits and transparent clothing, why in sexually explicit positions. There is no way that this is innocent modeling, it can only be described as a front for child porn.
