I say this all only to bring about a possible understanding, because you said you didn't understand. >^>;; To be blunt, my point wasn't towards "individuality", to seperate them from others. But "self-expression", only pertaining to themselves. However, on that note of individuality: Both sides of the spectrum with make-up and natural, neither is exclusive to being common. Both can be individual, both can lack it. As for "putting something on everyday just to feel pretty". That's what I covered when I said "It's not always about hiding faces". Is it sometimes? Of course. I reeeeeeeeeally hope you don't throw bricks, but this is really truth, and one of my key points with those that pick makeup over natural. *Simply reference.* Doesn't instantly mean they don't like their natural face. -Other- people may have that natural tan, (I do, I'm native.), however. -You- allowed yourself to tan, to change from your natural state, and you like it over pale. Even for the girls that DO put on make-up because they don't like their face, that's the -same- for you getting tan because you don't like your natural pale skin. But I'm gonna guess you just prefure tan over pale, right? I honestly don't think you think you're ugly when you're pale (natural). That's what I mean as well. Simply. Preference. Because they like it. X_x; BUT BUT BUT. What I'm sure we'll both agree on is this: I don't understand girls who buy coverup for the sake of covering up zits instead of buying skin-care products to take care of it. That is something that's way beyond me. ((Ok, I should get credits towards this essay damnit. XD But really, it's interesting. I see where you're coming from.))

About your bottom part: I respect your belief, but at the same time. Consider this: It's not always about "hiding" a face like so many girls who use a natural look preach about. It's also about using your resources and expressing creativity. Make-up is also considered an art. Sure, it's not always gonna be all fancy-like-artsy-fartsy, but it is self-expression. It's *not* like they're being fake. They're still who they are on the inside & it's good to have options to be more diverse with your own body. Example: You tanning. It's the same concept. You're altering your appearance because you like it. "Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself." Like I said, something to consider. I mean no offense, but just to keep an open mind.
