While in high school I entered the US Army. Enjoyed my tour of duty. While serving our country I earned a PhD in Computer Science. This is were my life got interesting.
In 87 a doctor informed me that I was not male but actually female, this blew my mind as one might imagine. This started my new life, it took several years before I could come to grips with this life changing information. I was never able to get my former wife pregnant and now we knew why. I had a major decision to make do I get a hysterectomy or cosmetically correct my genitals.
In early 1990 I made my decision to continue life as a female while still living as a male. My former wife and I decided to get an annulment. I transitioned after leaving the Army. I was working as the Software Design Quality manager for a company called VeriFone. It was a difficult transition due to the problems with my position in management etc.
November 22, 1993 I had Sex Reassignment Surgery with Dr. Preecha. I was still working for VeriFone life was going great. I was dating and enjoying my new sexuality, this lasted about a year then my mother got sick. So I moved from Hawaii to Georgia to take care of her. I bought a house there and moved my mother in and we lived near one of my brothers so we both took care of her until she died in 97.
I finally met my husband on line, and after we seen each other in real life we fell in love back in 2002. We were engaged for almost a year then got married 2003, in a small church in Georgia, both families were present and my two brothers gave me away.
I look forward from hearing from some of my classmates, I promise I don't bite.
