General Rules
If You Were Kicked: Do not come back and start a big commotion over being kicked. Instead; take it up with the host, or the moderator who kicked you in PM.
Keep an Open Mind: Even if you disagree with someone's beliefs, you must respect them. Joining the room as a newbie and coming off as too strong in your beliefs and set in your ways will not get you well liked.
Use Common Sense: If you think something will get you kicked, don't do it. If you are unsure, ask the host or a moderator about it.
Follow Stickam's TOS: Stickam's TOS rules should be followed in the room in addition to the room-specific rules.
Respect Everyone: Even if you dislike someone, don't pick at them or try starting shit with them. Try your best to ignore them and leave things be.
Video Chat Rules
Use Hands: Respect the hand rule. If too many people are attempting to talk at any one time, use hands as a sort of queue system.
Dock Down if Necessary: If the docks are approaching full and you are not contributing to the conversation, please dock down so that other users who wish to partake in the conversation may do so.
Do not Overdock: Stickam's new layout allows for an unlimited number of users to be on dock at any one time. However; there are only 12 community docks visible, preventing everyone from being seen. If all 12 community docks are occupied, please refrain from docking up.
Audio Chat Rules
Check your Volume: In the settings window, test your microphone volume before docking up. Adjust the volume until the volume bar peaks at about 80-85%.
Do not Play Music: Please do not dock up if music is playing unless it is quiet and in the background.
Text Chat Rules
Use Dark Font Colors: Bright colors are difficult to see against the background. Please change your font to a dark, readable color.
Don't Advertise: Advertising another room without permission will get you kicked. If you need to talk to a select few people, send them the link in PM, but only to the people you need to.
Avoid Caps Lock: Typing in all caps is irritating and comes off as yelling. Just don't do it.
Use Proper Grammar: Try your best to use proper grammar in the room. Type words out fully and use correct punctuation to the best of your ability.
