I have recently converted to Islam Alhamdulillah! A sister gave me a prayer, Dua'a E Kumayl

It was the whole sum of my life, and my struggle with my faith. It was hard, so hard, but I prayed. Upon finishing it, I felt the healing of Allah like a gentle whisper. And I wrote the following prose.

The recitation and prayers from the holy Q'ran soothe my soul. It is a healing balm for my wounds, for they are many. It resinates within my being and I am able to respond with joy once again.

No more searching, my days and long nights wandering in the wilderness are over. I have chanced upon an oasis with shade and cool water. The sun has scorched my flesh, the heat made me faint, and I carried my burdens continuously, aimlessly wandering in this wilderness.

The words of Allah quench my hunger as He has now fed me with fresh dates, sweet with His forgiveness and mercy.

There are those who make fun, laugh and snicker at me for doing shahada online, taught salat in a chatroom, and learning wudu from a youtube video,

BUT!! I am more grateful for all of these "internet" muslims, than any other muslim, near or far.
