Sony is planning to launch its much hyped and awaited PSP Phone this year and it’s been under the playtoy of lab work for over 3 years, as allegedly believed. Sony Ericsson "PSP" phone could threaten Apple's iOS game revenue. An unconfirmed report claims that Sony Ericsson is at work on a Playstation-branded Android smartphone with a new gaming ecosystem. The smartphone will reportedly run Android 3.0, also known as Gingerbread. A new area of the Android Market would be created specifically for games, which could be ported from the PSP or PSX library. But besides that, the newest rumor/belief comes with the news of Sony’s plans to even launch the Sony play station pad, but this is said to be mythical belief for now, unless any official word hits the surface.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt has confirmed that his company is developing a tablet device based on the Android (Android) operating system, according to friends that spoke to the executive at a recent event in Los Angeles. The New York Times reports that Google (Google) has “been working with several hardware manufacturers,” and “hopes to make its own apps marketplace available for new slate-like devices.” Although Google is yet to publicly announce such a device, many signs point to its likely launch. For starters, Google has been rumored to be developing a slate device with HTC – the same company it brought Nexus One to market with – since January. Moreover, the company has already announced plans for an e-book store expected to launch within the next few months. It’s also clear that Google has plans for Android that go way beyond phones. There’s already an Android-powered car on the way, as well as plans for what’s being called “Google TV.” While Chrome OS for netbooks is also expected by year-end (and there are rumored Chrome tablets too), an Android tablet now seems imminent.

The Droid X arrive with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, almost an inch bigger than the 3.5 display on the iPhone 4.The size of the Droid X screen, paired with its 854 x 480 pixels resolution, will be an attractive choice. “It is pretty spectacular,” John Stratton, chief marketing officer of Verizon said today, according to Wired. “When you have a screen and form factor like this – very thin and lightweight – it screams video.”Droid X, which ships on July 15, won't get the front-facing video camera featured on the new iPhone 4. But the Droid X will get an 8-megapixel camera capable of capturing HD video.the newest smartphone in Verizon's popular Android line.

17-year-old Windows Flaw Affects All Since NT Windows Virtual DOS Machine (VDM) bug from 17 years ago affects Windows 7 users today.

The vulnerability was discovered by a member of the Google security team, named Tavis Ormandy. The hole was tested and found to still be present in Windows XP, Server 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7, and can be used to open a command prompt "in the system context, which has the highest privilege level." Ormandy says that he informed Microsoft of this hole back in 2009, but they have yet to fix it.
