My sexuality does not define who I am.
I wear a lot of rainbows, but for no reason other
than the fact that I enjoy wearing every colour.
I'm not showing "pride". I'm not proud to be gay.
How many straight people are "proud" to be that way?
I'm not "in the closet". I just don't announce it.
"LOOK AT ME, I'M GAY!" What utter bullshit.
I haven't told my dad. I probably never will.
The chance of him taking it well is next to nil.
I don't plan on "coming out". My friends, they all know.
It just happened naturally-- I didn't put on a show.
It's not like straight boys hold a fucking parade
when they go out with a girl on a date.
I'm sorry if you think that I'm going to go to hell.
We both have our own beliefs, and I wish you well.
I've been through this a thousand million times:
I'll respect your opinion if you respect mine.
I'm here, I'm queer: big fuckin' deal.
