Zsa Zsa has always had an ear for music as she started off a dancing machine first back on the Southside of Chicago. Zsa Zsa began digging for records November of 2008. Why so late some may ask. It wasn’t until late last year that a very close friend advised her to start digging and spinning records based on her knowledge of music. This still wasn’t new to her having been around DJ’s and music all of her life. However, she will never forget the euphoria that came over her when she began to dig for herself. Two crates and one turntable later you couldn’t tell her nothing. As her digging became more serious so did she. Zsa Zsa finally invested in two Technic 1200’s, a mixer (no BPM counter), a pair of $50 Stanton needles, and a $25 Goodwill stereo and she was off. It didn’t come easy as she states the agony of watching her two turntables sit because she wasn’t financially situated to purchase the mixer and needles as of yet. She had only one more obstacle ahead which was the art of blending Disco tunes. She states as a new comer she continues to perfect her craft as the music she plays tells a story through live bands & orchestras. She would tell you that she considers herself someone who appreciates music rather than a DJ. A DJ in her eyes is an individual that can play many different genres of music for the masses. Zsa Zsa on the other hand loves the classics and stays generally in the early 70’s and then works her way up. She loves to surprise individuals with her selection as it will surely have you off your feet or even singing the words. Zsa Zsa has played on internet radio, late night loft parties, and various venues throughout Atlanta. She will also tell you that she is an analog lover as she plays and collects all vinyl. Zsa Zsa continues to dig for those lost tunes that can make your body move.
