ur breaking up ideas in that complex of the instrument and skill of the player like playing bass vs playing drums , 1 string other percussion. in most common realm bass follow the kick and plays the root of the guitar chords. rhythm and lead guitar not different instruments but different ideas needed to work with then there is singing and screaming . he is a great guitarist n good vocalist.
