I started Phoenix FM in 1996. We broadcast 10 trial broadcasts on FM here in Essex (Great Britain) between 1996 and 2006. In February 2006 we won a full time licence and we now broadcast on 98.0FM 24 hours a day as well as on the internet and now, Stickam!

We've been getting about 25,000 views a day on the webcam thanks to our flirty tag team of Gemma, Xanthe and Alex.

I'm still running the station, as Chairman. DAY AND NIGHT ....

I like beer, sausages, indie, West Ham, gadgets, South Park, fresh air, rivers, sunsets, driving somewhere for no reason, my wife and kids.

Cruel summer was written in July when the rest of them lest Siobahn (sp?!) and went off to Italy on the dole money or something... ;) so um there! I forgot to tell you more about the delicious meat product called spam! LOL apologies!

um why did you kick me out? are you one of those left wing bleeding heart brits obsessed with multiculturalism? i went to your country and i noticed that there's no fish and chip shops left and i couldn't find anywhere to buy bangers and mash. oh wait i found 2 fish and chip shops in newquay. your country is becoming some multinational hub with no true identity. i hope australia retains it's character and doesn't become like the uk.
