Started djing at the tender age of 14 in 1981, on Chicago's south side. Inspired by my dad the Late Albert Armstrong. My dad was a great dj. He gave me the knowlege on music. My Father loved Contemporary Jazz. Artists like Chick Corea, Eddie Henderson, Wilbert Longmire, Hubert and Ronnie Laws, Grant Green, Stanley Turrentine, Rodney Franklin and Webster Lewis. Also being a Club Kid, it gave me the foundation and the creative ear to have the wisdom, the imagination and the ability to play music with no boundaries. Thanks to Djs (educators) like Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, Tee Scott and many other djs that help shape and developed the way I play music. Music has always been a true passion in my life!!
