Biography
Peeraporn Thapviwat “Mymelody-Molly Jones”(Mine) (born September 1, 1992) is a Thai actress, singer, performer, and community service achiever. She earned her name “Wonder Girl”, after few projects and interviews she appeared , in which reveals her potential personalities, and skills. Her most impressive talent is an ability to sing fourteen different languages songs by the age of five. She could as well memorize more than 200 songs in English, and paid special interests in 60s and 70s music since a young age. She is perhaps best known for a young Elvis impersonator girl. Thapviwat was involved in many charities and organizations for several years; helping orphanage and unfortunate children with their education and shelters. She was awarded for an outstanding community services many years in a row. Biography Career Molly started her singing career at the age of three. Her parents loved listening to music in the car. They liked listening to American or British oldies music from the 60s or the 70s. They turned them on everyday, without noticing that the music had influenced young Molly ever since then. When she was three, she begins to sing songs she memorized. It surprised her parents, since all of the songs are in English language, and she was only three years old. Her first song to be memorized was by Neil Sedaka, Run Samson Run, followed by Patsy Cline’s Seven Lonely Days. Her parents later took her to Thailand’s popular television show, The Midnight Show, hoping to introduce her as an opening act; it turns out that the owner of the show, Vitawat Sunthonvinet, was very interested in her talent, and decided to put her as the guest of the show. Molly performed a 70s’ Osibisa’s hits, Sunshine Day for the show. After the show was aired, Molly became known for the Thai entertainment industries. By viewing many music videos, Molly begins to teach herself how to dance. She believes that by dancing it will create more color and taste to her performances. Molly also started to memorize more songs from the oldies and in another languages. Molly does not listen to anything else besides oldies material. When Molly was four, her mother took her R.S Entertainment Record for an audition as the record label’s “sign” singer, but the producers said she was too young. Although they were interested in her talent, and decided to put her in their next soap opera called “Luke Puchai Yeapfhan” (ลูกผู้ชายเหยีบฝัน). She had a small role of the main character’s childhood, and was credited as Peeraporn Thapviwat. In the late 1996, Molly appeared on her first television commercial for Knorr soup; followed by never release commercials of 7-11, Baby Mine Baby Powder, and Central Departmentstore. In the middle of 1997, Molly auditioned her talent to Quest and Quid Talent Inc. Unfortunately, the company does not audition for children. Accidentally, the owner of the company showed up a minute later, and was very interested in her. According to her fun, talkative, energetic, and happy personalities, the owner interviewed Molly himself. He finally decided to put her in his new night-time soap opera drama called “Kalaphangha” (กัลปังหา), translated in English as “The Coral Reef of Love”. Molly was the first child actress to be selected for this company. The entire series took place at the southern part of Thailand, in the province of Phuket, where the 7th wonder, Andaman Sea is. Molly received a bigger role than her last soap opera, as the youngest sister of the main character’s family. Also credited as Peeraporn Thapviwat. Molly was booked over 100 television shows per year; rated as the Country’s Favorite Young Star, according to the Channel 3 star poll in 1998. In the same year, Quest and Quid booked Molly for her second night-time soap opera. This time she got a lead role of “Jam-Jeow”, the niece of the main character. “Jam-Jeow describes as a playful, energetic, happy,and very smart girl, indeed is common realted to Molly’s personalities. The soap-opera was called, “Kei Lekae” (เขยลิเก). Through out the year of 1999-2003, Molly’s been working with mostly live performances, television shows and concerts. She had over twenty concerts per months and perhaps two hundred per year. Besides concerts, she also performed in television shows, and as opening acts for many contests. On Tuesday, March 26, 2003, Molly and her family moved to Los Angeles, California for her and her sister’s education. Buddhist Activities Peeraporn was born as a lovely, fast learning, obedient and courteous girl. She had a good memory, especially in delaing with Buddhist activities. She, along with her parents, made alms at a variety of temples since she was three years old. Offerings were made to the priests on every Buddhist holy day, and every Sunday the family went to make alms by practicing Dharma at Wat Ampawan, Singburi. It was here where His Holiness Phra Thep Singhaburachan (Grand Priest Charan) was so kind as to frequently bless her as an exemplary person to the general public. She is very respectful to Buddhism. Thapviwat is also fond of making merits and giving alms. She is a typical example of a good Thai youth. Since the age of three, Thapviwat was capable of remembering the prayers of religious ceremonies. These prayers included The Requisition of the Five Commandments of the Buddha, The Requisition and Acceptance of Dharma, The Requisition of Phraparit Dharma, and The Requisition of Traisaranakhom Dharma. There are many more prayers that she knows very well. She was capable of remembering all these prayers and religious rite prayers accurately. Molly is also a presenter of a television Dharma program on Channel 3 entitled “Hopeless Life” which interviews Buddhist priests. It was on this program that His Holliness Pra Thep Singhaburacharn (Grand Priest Charan) was interviewed. He spoke in relation to knowledge, Dharma, practice, and principals, so that children may learn of the beginning of the principals of Dharma. Many consider it to be one of the best programs for guiding Thai youth. During summer-break from school, His Holliness Pra Thep Singhaburachan had nominated Thapviwat to assist with a variety of activities to help teach the Dharma. These activities included a Quiz and Answer activity with the children and parents who came to meditate at the Dharma Practice Center of Veruwan Garden in Khon Kaen province. Peeraporn is knowledeable about the practice of Dharma, and on many occasions has mediatated for three day intervals at Wat Ampawan Temple in Singburi province. From time to time, foreign nationals would join in meditation, and Grand Priest Charan would have Peeraporn make company and help converse with these important people. Peeraporn has also made a great effort to expose many of the foreign teachers from the Kasetsart University International Demonstration School to Buddhist traditions. She has taken them to see Grand Priest Charan quite often and guided them around to a variety of significant ancient grounds in Thailand; such as the Ancient City of Phranakhon Si in Ayutthaya province. She has also been kind enough to show them other attractions around Thailand; such as Ratchaburi province’s famous floating market, Khoakiew Zoo in Chonburi province. “Wonder Kid” In 2001, Phra Dharmmarajanuwat (Grand Priest Chinese Daddy) has sent Peeraporn as a Thai representative to the Buddhist School in Los Angeles, California. She participated in the Dharma Quiz, said prayers, and sang many languages songs to entertain Thai children. Another great honor bestowed upon Thapviwat was in realtion to Thai children from U.S.A coming to visit Thailand. The children were from the Sunday Buddhist School of Wat Vachiradharmmaprateep Temple, New York, and the Institute of Thai Theatre and Music. They came to Thailand to participate in His Majesty the King’s Prestigious Ceremony and to study Thai culture. She was selected by the vice-president of the Buddhism Association of Thaialnd, His Excellency Somphon Thepsittha, as a representative of Thai children living in Thailand. This was considered a great honor, for she was the only Thai youth to participate in this activity. Molly has been praised by the mass media to receive the nickname of “Wonder Kid, Representative of a Dharma-minded Thai Kid”. In addition, on National Gratitude Day she received the award and honorable shield from the Social Welfare Council citing her as “The Kid Who is Grateful to Buddhism”. She has been a great pride of her parents and teahers. Charities & Organizations Thapviwat has used her talent in acting and singing to support various branches of society since she was four years old. She has participated in singing under the saijathai Foundation Assignment, Children’s Heart Disease Foundation, AIDS Foundation, and the Counter Narcotics Fair. In addition, she has helped to support the International Red Cross, Social Welfare Council Fair, and other fairs held at the parliament buildings in Thailand. In recognition for her supprot, dissemination of Buddhism, and being a good example to general youths, she received a sheild and cerficate from the Govenor of Nakhon Pathom Province. Peeraporn is fond if giving alms, including food, money, and articles for personal use to underprivileged children living in Pakkred Home, and to the elderly people living at Bang Care Home for the elderly. She donates 4,000 Baht per month to an educational scholarship at the Buddhist School of Wat Phra Non Chakkrasi in Singburi Province, and provides instructional materials and sports equipment to children living in rural upcountry. Singing and Elvis Impersonating Career Molly has been fond of singing since she was three years old. And that age, she was able to accurately remember the themes and lyrics of songs properly. She can sing in fourteen different languages: Thai, English, Mexican, Brazilian, Spanish, Israeli, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Singaporean, Taiwanese, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. She is capable of singing famous soundtracks from many cartoons and [[movie]]s. In addition, Peeraporn is as well capable of singing a wide variety of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s pop songs by artists such as The Beatles, The Carpenters, Cliff Richard, Brenda Lee, Madonna, and many more. Although she can sing all these classics, Elvis Presley songs are Peeraporn’s favorites. She studies video tapes of Elvis in an effort to master many of his dancing steps and poses. She is now able to sing over 200 of Elvis Presley’s songs. Peeraporn’s talent at singing Elvis Presley’s songs has earned the respect of older generations of Elvis admieres such as Chruek Viriyakit, Chirasak Pinsuwan, Vasu Saengsingkaew and many more. She has performed at many memory fairs that were held at such places as Queen Sirikit’s Convention Centre, the Cutural Centre of Thailand, the Sala Chalermkrung Theatre, and the Asian Hotel. She has also perform at The Windsor Hotel, Bangkok, The Imperial Mae Ping in Chaing Mai province, and many more. Thapviwat had the honor of being invited to sing Elvis Presley’s songs at the birthday anniversary of H.R.M Pa, with H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Korn Tupparungsri. In addition, she was also invited to play guitar and sing at the welcome party for Miss Universe from Puerto Rico at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok. Besides being famous in Thailand, Peeraporn has also been invited to sing Elvis Presley’s songs in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S.A. CNN News Agency had reported that Peeraporn is one of the youngest Elvis Presley Impersonator. Despite all this international influence, Thapviwat has been able to maintain her Thai roots. She is capable of performing Thai theatrical dance and playing the Thai xylophone skillfully. This balance of performing internationally while maintaining her cutural heritage has earned the respect of friends, family, and colleagues alike. Career in United States Molly’s career continues even when she already moved to the United States. She performs in Las Vegas several times with many world class Elvis impersonators; such as Donny Edwards, from Texas, and Johnny Thompson, from Illinois. In mid 2004, Molly met a manager of The Platters and The Temptations, Cheka Abubakari at the Elvis Memorial Concert in Los Angeles, California; and had been working with him for several years. In the beginning of 2005, he booked Molly to perform with The Temptations in El Centro, the border of Mexico. The actual concert date was on November 22, 2004 at the Southwest Performing Art Theatre. Abubakari also booked Molly to perform with The Platters in Hollywood, California. While attending fifth grade in 2004, Roger Ramnath, a producer from Apple Corp’s Ghetto Film production was interested in making a short documentary about Molly’s career. The film itself was only 6:49 minutes, containing many views of Molly’s career, since a young age. Ramnath sent the film to New York City’s Film festival, but instead got accepted to the 2005 Film Festival in Hollywood, California. It was qualified as the Top Ten Finalist. Molly and mother as well attended the premier at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California. It was also the same year in which Molly signed with Kids Management, a casting company, and appeared on her first American television show, That’s So Raven, on the episode called Point of No Return. Molly is currently working with many casting companies and often appeared in live performances and concerts. Molly lived with her family in Hollywood, and Glendale California; currently attending Clark Magnet High School in Montrose, California.

I enjoyed playing instruments like guitar, drums, and harmonica as well. I also loves to practice martial arts (kung fu) and using weapons like sword and nunchaku too. More over I like to search about their history too.

A hard Day's Night, Help !, any Elvis Presley movies, and anything that could make me laugh, but have to make sense. I watched could watch anything from family to horror (sometimes).

I don't watch TV that much anymore, I could just go with whatever I turned on and my mind's interested in it.
