If I could paint myself as a self-portrait in romanticism, I'd be a pale girl wearing a gray shoulder-baring dress with black lace, allowing for her freckled shoulders to be exposed. There would be a raven on my shoulder, a corn snake coiling around my arm, a fat toad at my feet, a halo of moths dancing around my hair, a glass bottle balanced on the top of my head, underneath a weeping willow tree surrounded by an outcropping of stone, in the middle of a rainshower.
But others may paint me differently.
