We want to not only surprise our "hometown heros" with useful tools (such as phone cards, wool socks, breathable underwear, and chap-stick), but we also want to send over some fun gifts as well. It is our goal to raise $1,500 in both gifts and shipping costs. 100% of the money donated will go to cover expenses. A friend of the show is a staff sergeant serving his 2nd tour; we will mail the package to his troop. For him Radio will be offering a link directly to the websites of companies who make large product/monetary donations. We will also be thanking them on air. T We are also accepting holiday and thank you cards to ship over. Many of our soldiers do not receive mail from home, and we would like them to know we are thinking of them. A card written out to our men would be a wonderful treat for them. At this time we have donations from Burton Snowboards, Java Girls, Clearwire, Kent Bowl, Emerald Downs, and Fast Signs.
