Hello, My name is Michael Malpass and I am a recovering addict freed from the bondage of drugs by faith. Faith in our Father in Heaven, faith in Jesus our saviour, and faith in the Holy Spirit that dwells in me through faith.

Welcome to For His Name Sake Ministries. We are a ministry to reach the lost souls you see or hear about every day. We hope to reach those in bondage to addiction and those who feel trapped in a life of corruption and evil. God has called many to do His work in spreading the Love of Jesus. I am just one of those servants, answering that call.
I left my home church, The Athol Foursquare Church, (Athol, Massachusetts), on Good Friday, after being commissioned to carry a wooden cross down the east coast on foot. I do this, in order to spread the passion and truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all those who have not been touched by the message of hope. I cannot do this in my own strength...it is by the power of Christ living in me that will enable me to share the gospel as obediently as I can. As I take up my cross, I pray daily that God lead me to those people, and give them a message. That is that God loves them, His son Jesus died on the cross for us, and that He, and He alone, can heal us and bless our lives. I am a recovering addict alive only by grace and mercy of God. My hopes is that the Hand of God move through His children and rally behind this ministry to the lost. This site provides resources to help this ministry reach the lost and the lost to reach God. I am visiting prisons, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers primarily.
Throughout this journey I will be staying at churches along the route, and when asked to give my testimony I will be happy to share what the power of Christ has done in my own life. I encourage you to contact us and tell us what you think, make suggestions or, offer your services to share your spiritual gifts.
