Something You Should Know About Me
We think to tell,
of the past's common pain,
lost love ones and forlorn hope,
so different and yet the same,
the stories pass the mind,
some linger for a while,
bringing comfort in our misery,
others greet us with no smile,
a collective of broken souls,
show us the many shades of grey,
faceless names form the circle,
still the anger is unstayed,
stand with me on the eve,
of the darkness deep within,
follow the path of broken verse,
as the shadows creeping in,
the poet's thought,
in purest form,
a release from this world,
emotions' endless storm.
