Born in New Jersey, have driven through every state in the US at one more than once. I dont know, ask me if you want to know more.
I am Here for:
Friend, learning from both young and old. I don't think there's anyone I can't learn from.
Hobbies:
Photography - because it gives me a way to show others what I see. Music - seems something everyone would like but I can't imagine a world without it. Traveling - not just to get away from home or sit in a cushy resort but to feel like a kid again, capture some wonderment of seeing something for the first time. There's a list of things I want to see in this lifetime and many require travel to fulfill them. Whether it be riding the world's largest rollercoaster or walking on a glacier I don't want to miss out. Camping, Fishing, Nature Related Activities - while I don't go on 20 mile excursions into the wilderness carrying my home on my back anymore, I can't ever imagine my world without a strong dose of nature's medicine. The greenery of the forest or the blue waters of the deep sea both make me much happier fullfilled content person. Whenever I find myself getting lost I come back there to my roots.
Favorite Movies:
Too many to list!
Favorite TV Shows:
South Park, Mythbusters, lots of stuff on Natgo and Discovery channel. History channel as well.
Favorite Music:
I like a HUGE variety of music, I think it confuses people how I could like bands like Black Sabbath yet totally dig the Dixie Chicks. I probably have music on 90% of the time, whether it be driving, cooking or surfing the web as I am doing now. I'm continually finding smaller name artists, some not even signed as well as better known artists. Some of my favorites would be as follow: Black Sabbath - one of my very first favorite hard rock bands, just love their sound, it's totally different. Jimmy Hendrix - it saddens me he had to leave us so early and while he's from a different era than me, one note on his guitar can dig deep emotionally. Jewel Kilcher - probably the BEST voice I ever heard live, saw her last year at the Count Basie Theater favorites, Amber Digby - not a very well known artist but she has a voice in the ranks of Patsy Cline. Both of her cd's are pure gold to me. I have no ill feelings about any of it." This reflects my feelings about a lot of popular music today, not to say there aren't great artists on major labels but I do think a lot of great music gets tainted in the process of making it what labels think it should be more than the artists' true vision. The list could go on forever but a quick list without summaries of each would be, David Allan Coe, Led Zeppelin, Ice-T, Alecia Nugent, Allison Moorer, Catherine Britt, Gram Parsons, Cherryholmes, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Diana Krall, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Public Enemy, Evanescence, Flying Burrito Brothers, Martina McBride, Jethro Tull, Jim Croce, Van Halen, Grateful Dead. The list is too long!
Favorite Books:
Not a big reader of fiction, I do bury myself in anything ho-to. The last book I read for fun was "The Social Lives of Dogs"
I Love:
Dogs, Cats, places untouched by human intervention, the ocean.
I Hate:
Traffic jams, close minded people.
