About Me
We are Graham and Peggy, We will be married 50 years in Jan 2008. We have five daughters and two sons with a collection of grand children.
We believe in honesty good manners and a little elegance. In dancing cheek to cheek on the ball room floor, that love is for ever.It is not hard to be polite.
Most of my working life has been in the mineral industries on design, installation and commissioning plant. Peggy is a qualified nurse.
Our leasure time has been one mostly of cruising both under sail and power and we have brought our family to respect and value the sea. We have sailed with the whales and the albatross and many things in between.
The sparkle in a grandson's eye looking for pieces of eight on a strange beach or that of a grand daughter looking for the little mermaid in a bioluminescent sea during the dark of night. Life has been a great adventure which we worked hard to achieve. We respect the views of others and treat our critics with tolerance.

The face to face encounter with that most gentle giant of the deep the great blue whale. To steer by the rising or setting stars. The Brilliant rainbow around the sprit and under the main boom ;sailing rail down on clear seas, fresh breeze and no land in sight. Teach us to delight in simple things. And mirth that has no bitter springs; Forgiveness free of evil done, And love to all men 'neath the sun. (Rudyard Kipling) I am not sure about the last bit there are many not so deserving. |

As a fellow "higher order" mortal who has admired the astounding beauty and majesty of the albatross in flight at sea, and laughed at his antics on Midway Island as a gooney bird, I did really enjoy chatting with you tonight. I hold New Zealand and its people in a very special place in my heart. I hope to get back there someday. I remember it as being just about the fartherest place on the face of the earth from my home - move left, right, up, down, on the globe and I was getting closer to home. "Fair winds and following seas" to you, my new Kiwi friend.
