Show and Prove Radio was established to serve with particular regard for those overlooked or under-represented by other media and to provide for the exchange of cultural and intellectual ideas and music. We seek to educate, inspire, and entertain through programming that reflects the diversity of the Hip-Hop community. We seek to provide a space for media access and education, placing equipment, skills, and critical tools in the hands of the community. Formally known as “Freaky Fridays” on 91.9fm, Show and Prove Radio was formed in 2005 by Harrabic & G.O.D. to give the people a show with no mainstream politics. During their time on 91.9fm they were very successful on the Underground scene and had interviewed many artists such as Remy Ma, Kid Capri, Loon, Bizzy Bone, Immortal Technique, Joell Ortiz, A-Alikes, Hassan Salaam, Tek (Smif-N-Wessun), Teflon (MOP), Kool Herc, Pete Rock and many more. They have hosted many Hip-Hop talent showcases around the city and guest hosted other radio shows. Harrabic and G.O.D. have now expanded their vision and commitment internationally to produce a show with a more balanced structure, giving light to the many underexposed talents and aspects of the Hip-Hop culture. On Show and Prove Radio you will hear Old School Hip-Hop, New School Hip-Hop, Underground Hip-Hop and Mainstream rap. You will also get to hear mixtape reviews, album reviews, celebrity gossip, hottest and wackest joints of the week, the latest dis/beef tracks, exclusive interviews and live freestyles.
