I am a gay activist and radical faerie from Philadelphia, PA. I love Stickam and all the wonderful crazy people here. Come visit me in private or whatever chat room I am in. And get over it.... I am old--- 90 years old actually-- but I promise you a fun conversation if you are willing to take a chance with a geezer. Things I have done on Stickam: given a piano performance, read poetry, sang songs, acted in plays, told bad jokes, introduced my cat Madeline. Have a dream in life? I am a great person to tell it to--- I will help you make it happen. I promise.
There is a funny movie that describes my life here. Check out the blog articles I am sharing on Google Reader. Harvey Milk's last words are here. The unbelievably minimal manslaughter verdict following Harvey Milk's assassination led to the famous White Night riots outside of San Francisco City Hall. Harvey Bernard Milk (May 22, 1930 – November 27, 1978), an American politician and gay rights activist, was the first openly gay city supervisor of San Francisco, California, and therefore, according to Time magazine, "the first openly gay man elected to any substantial political office in the history of the planet". He was assassinated in 1978, along with Mayor George Moscone. The assassin, Dan White, "a troubled anti-gay conservative", was sentenced to five years with parole.[1] Outrage over the relatively mild verdict led to the White Night Riots in San Francisco. |
