WHO is Macleem?
Macleem is the brainchild of Haneef Saleem. An avid basketball fan and professional playground pick up player (aka. Plays for the love of the game). During the Summer of 2000, with the vision of bringing a new look to the world of basketball apparel, Haneef began selling a few custom designs to players and spectators at local tournaments with modest success. Through word of mouth and Internet buzz, he began getting request for our exclusive gear from prominent players from across the country, including Jay Boogie.

Haneef partnered with Jay “Boogie” Brantley (“The King of California Streetball”) and began working diligently on getting California playground basketball the respect and acknowledgment it deserves. Even though Macleem is a New York based company, we are firm believers that game recognizes game no matter where you’re from.
