Biography

Professionally I am a DJ, a musician, a part time chef and a college student. When I have the time I like to be active and I am kind of an extremist. I like to rock climb, sky dive, base jump, fly airplanes (yes I have my single engine pilots licenses), scuba dive, box, golf, play/watch all kinds of sports, BMX, etc. I am not really scared to try anything...but I am scared of clowns (they freak the hell out of me). I believe if you aspire to be something, you can do it with hard work, passion and love. I love my life, my family and my future family. I live my life to the fullest with the least amount of regrets as possible.

~Preface~
Love is a universal force that everyone in this world strives to find. It is a long painful road that sometimes you just want to give up on. But, through the countless tears and heart aches we encounter, with enough time and sufficient healing we find ourselves walking the same path in search of love. Have I ever been in love? Yes I think so, maybe not for a long period of time, but it existed. I describe love as a chain of miscellaneous feelings. Feelings like butterflies in the tummy, constantly thinking about the special someone, smiling uncontrollably at the simple thought of the person, being able to sit in complete silence with the person and feel completely comfortable, longing for and/or missing long telephone conversations in the middle of the night (you know who you are), and countless other feelings. I'm not sure if this is what love is, but I sure can't wait to have these feelings everyday for the rest of my life with a single person.

~Finding Love~
Finding Love is what I think is the hardest part of the entire process. It takes time, patience, confidence, discipline and most importantly passion. Like I said in the preface the journey in finding "the one" is a long painful process. So much pain that giving up feels like the best solution and where your heart starts developing a calus from the pain, but love is worth it. Another important aspect in the process is taking a risk, isn't love and happiness worth it? So what if they live 3,000 miles away, love is worth it in the end. A young amazing young lady gave me some advice once (you know who you are) "Things happen for a reason" and when you meet somebody, that meeting happened for a reason and so if you take a chance and see what happens you might reach that goal that every person on this earth is striving for....love, love is it worth it.

~Maintaining Love~
Maintaining Love is equally as challenging as finding love. Keeping the proverbial fire burning until death do us part. There are several parts that are key to having a successful relationship. First is communication, communicating your every thought and feeling so that there are never any loose ends. The next aspect is humor, "Laughter is the key to the heart" and I 100% believe this statement. Maintaining a relationship full of laughter and happiness gives a relationship those constant butterflies in stomach moments. Respect, respect your partner in every way and expect nothing less from them. Intimacy, don't just speak your love, show your love. Live, love ,laught....period.

~Conclusion~
I'm not really sure why I typed all this up. I guess I just after events that occurred this week I felt the need to get some stuff off my mind. I am not a perfect man and I never expect to be one. The only thing I have to offer is my heart, happiness and love. I feel like I am a good guy, but then stuff happens that makes me think that I am screwing up somewhere. I am ready for love, I want to love....I have felt loves intoxicating power for a brief period of time and it was probably the closest to Nirvana I have ever been. I want somebody that gives me butterflies every day, I want somebody that I can't stop thinking about, I want somebody that every time I think about them I smile, I WANT TO TALK UNTIL THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING!!! I WANT IT ALL!! I thought I had it, but then it was taken from me. Nice guys finish last and I guess I will accept it....I have to accept it. But, as painful and lonely as it is....love is worth it in the end. Love+Living=Nirvana
