How do I Broadcast on my iPhone App?
- Tap the “Broadcaster” button
- Then tap the settings icon
- Configure your broadcast settings:
- Auto-record: If this feature is set to ‘On’ your live will be recorded as soon as you Go Live. If this feature is set to ‘Off’ you can always press the record button later while you are live.
- Privacy: You can choose whether you would like all members to join your broadcast or if you would only like for members in your Stickam Friends list to be able to join your broadcast.
- Video Quality: You can decide whether you want to stream your broadcast quality dynamically which will automatically determine the speed of your internet and broadcast the video quality accordingly to minimize delay. You can also choose to broadcast in High Quality which will stream the maximum video quality your iphone can output. Please keep in mind if you do not have fast enough internet available when broadcasting in High Quality you may experience some lag/delay.
- Caption: You can type a caption so that when users view your room they will see the caption while you are broadcasting.
- When you are finished configuring your settings tap on the “Done” button.
- Then tap the “Go Live” button
- You are now live!
How do I view my friend’s broadcast?
- Tap on the “Viewer” button
- Then tap on the “Friends” icon located on the Stickam Toolbar on the bottom of the iPhone.
- You will see a prompt that says you must login in order to view your friends; tap on the “Yes” button
- Enter your Stickam email and password. If you do not have a Stickam Account tap on the “Create New Account” button and then register for an account.
- All your friends that are Live will be displayed on the Friend’s List; tap on the friend that you want to join in their broadcast.
- You are now viewing the broadcast, however if you would like to enter the host chat and interact with the users you must tap on the text icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.
How do I logout of my Account on the Stickam iPhone App?
- Tap on either the “Viewer” or the “Broadcaster” button.
- Then tap on the settings icon which is in the shape of two gears.
- Finally tap the “Logout” button and you will be logged out of your iPhone App.
How do I search for live members so I can view their Broadcast?
- Tap on the “Viewer” button
- Then tap on the Search icon (magnifiying glass icon) located on the top right corner of the screen
- Type the username of the member you are searching for and then tap the “Search” button
