Howdy! I am the Christian Hillbilly. Welcome to my site. Just a little about me, I am a Bible believing Christian! I believe that the Bible is true and correct right from the very first verse. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…” You might not believe the Bible but I do. And I believe it gives me the right basis to understand this universe and correctly interpret the facts around me.
I’m going to give you some examples of how building my thinking on the Bible explains the world and is not contradicted by science. Now let me ask you to come in and defend your position concerning these matters. Please show me how your way of thinking based on your beliefs makes sense of the same evidence. You might say that there isn't any scientific evidence that contradicts the Bible. You might then also say that the Bible is scientifically accurate. The thing though that I think you are failing to grasp is that the Bible is not a scientific book. Its claims often fall beyond the scrutiny of scientific experimentation. The claims which do fall within science's limits fall undetected and the result is often a Christian's excuse about how God avoids being measured. Sure, okay I'll buy that, but if the claims are neither falsifiable nor detectable by science we are left with a metaphysical question. One should then be required to treat the question "does God exist" with another system of knowledge that puts the question on its proper platform.
If you have found the explanation of existence explain it to me! With proof. Because as far as I know not even science has explained our existence and we must start with that before furthering our understanding.
Incest is wrong? How about Adam and Eve, and Lust is wrong? Your priests have sexually assaulted many young boys!
And incest? Adam and Eve's daughters and sons married each other, wouldn't they go to hell? Just because I look at a guy and think he is handsome or hot it means that I have to suffer in a fiery pit of death because I feel lustful? and if confessing gets rid of it all that means that a man who rapes a woman and then kills them wont have to suffer if they spill it out to a priest. Your religion is like a small child changing the rules to a well established game for their profit, or to help them win.
Please keep disturbing things like this off of the internet, and away from the media where anyone can access it.
