I am a wife of 40, a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 2. I have a degrees in Computer Science, Business Communication and Creative Writing with a strong background in marketing and what did I do with all that education, I went into the car business, yeah I know, go figure. I started as a receptionist and worked my way up to Business Development Director for several highline stores, grossing over $3 million for the dept. annually. Things got a bit hairy for the SoCal automotive industry after Bush Economics started making a real negative impact but what really did me in was this freaky accident involving an air pump (don't ask). It left me permanently disabled and I had to make some hard decisions. So I left my beloved SoCal and made my way with my family in tow to Colorado (by way of Michigan, really long story!). I took me several years to dry up after pruning in my very own pity pool. But something amazing happened along the way, I rediscovered my ability to dream. I began a movement (based on the pay it forward premise) called Adopt a Dream. After some frustrating times of trying to find a social network to platform this idea off of, I finally got frustrated with MySpace, Facebook, et al and decided to start my own social network (www.cluba2z.com) And then I heard Barack Obama speak and ever since then I have become a CNN/MSNBC political junkie. I’ve noticed how nuts people have gotten over this election, so I decided to try and make a difference. So I started a blog, (Thoughts from a 40yr old political virgin www.politicalvirgin.wordpress.com). Along with the blog, the social network, the Adopt a Dream program, I also begun this “underground” radio program with the hopes that maybe, just maybe I can help people better understand the issues, with my own brand of dry wit and humor, along with some kick-ass tunes. Considering how much what they do up on the hill, affects us “little” guys down here, its time that we started paying attention! So there you have it folks, just a smidge about me. Now you all ready to talk some common sense? I know I am!
