Life. It isn’t about your long term goals or short term memory. It isn’t about trying to fit in with a group of people or trying to fit in a pair of size 2 jeans. It isn’t about accomplishments or failure. It isn’t about being influential or being under the influence. Life is about living. Don’t make it complex.

So here's a little thing about what I like to call my "life".

I was born in Edmonton, Alberta then moved when I was a year old. We moved to London, Ontario, where I spent three years of my life where I met the best friends I have ever had. They have passed on, but they live on in my heart, when we said best friends, we really did mean forever. I was mainly raised in Sarnia, Ontario, which, unfortunately, I call home. I hate it here, this is probably one of the worst little cities I have ever been to. One thing goes wrong in your life and the entire city knows within a matter of a few days. There isn’t a lot of interesting things that go on in Sarnia, apart from tryin' to find a good seat to watch the drug busts, and having conversations with everyone about how we may be a potential target for a terrorist attack because of our chemical valley.
By the way, incase you didn’t know, it is a scientific fact that if you live in Sarnia for longer than 15 years, you lose approximately seven years off your life because of all the toxic waste in our waters, and the chemicals in our air. YAY SARNIA!

But, don't let that decieve you. Just like everyone else, I have flaws. However, I have accepted myself for who I am, and if you don't like it, there’s a button at the top that says home, click it and get over yourself. You're NOT perfect either.

I'm an extremely complicated girl, and it will take you some time to get to understand me, however, I promise you it’s worth it. I have been hurt many times, therefore, it takes some time for me to open up to people. I am one of the best listeners you will ever talk to, and I will ALWAYS be there for someone who needs me. Once you get to know me, you may want to be my friend, or not. I am me, and you need to accept me for who I am, because I won't change for you. I am content with whom I have grown up to be, and I refuse to change for anyone. I have accepted my flaws, and my past. Those mishaps, setbacks, and hurtful moments have made me who I am today.

My opinions and beliefs, are part of who I am. I am atheist and don't believe in "God", but, if you do, I have nothing against you or anything bad to say to you, unless provoked. I will never try and change you, please give me the same courtesy. My opinions on sexuality, animal rights, abortion, or any other world issue/issue in general, are just that, MY opinions. If you don't agree with them, that's fine. I never asked you to, just please; respect me, and my opinions. I promise to give you the same courtesy.

With that said, I should let you know that I am a vegitarian. I believe eating animals is wrong, and that every life, be it human or animal, has a purpose. Neither spieces has a life purpose to be slaughtered and turned into your roast beef or filet mignion. Also, I am completely against abortion for many reasons. I am bi-sexual and believe that gays, lesbians, and bi-sexuals, should be given the same rights as any straight person. We are people too.

There are days where I feel like I am at the lowest possible time in my life. Nothing is going right, but there are some people that have stuck by me. Though I have realized that some of the friends I thought I had aren’t real friends. I've come to realize that life is what you make of it, and your friends play a key role in your life. The people I considered my friends, have become ignorant, and only care about themselves. But then I met a group of girls that could not be better friends. The Gazebo Crew of '07. They are my rock. They are my family that I got to choose. I am going to miss them more than anyone can ever imagine when I leave.

By the way...
I am completely, 100% me. I don't start clothing lines like every other person on myspace. I don't have 60 colors in my hair, or piercings all over my body. I am not covered in tattoos with ears stretched so big you can fit a popcan in them. I think guys that spend more time in the bathroom than I do are creepy. I think girls that change who they are or what they look like for a guy are stupid. I don't care how many friends you have on myspace, or how many profile views you have. Congratulations, want a medal? Your internet friends don't matter, your friends you actually know, are important.
