Hey, I'm JiKay. My real name is Jim Kirk and I have been around music my whole life. All started going to watch my dad play gigs when I was really young and being interested in the technical side of it all. This got me into DJing at kids parties etc. from a very young age.

One Christmas my parents had bought me a child's drum kit but I wasn't particularly interested until I was around 10 and they started giving drum lessons at my school. I was encouraged to take them by school and when I was 13 got my first full size kit and started looking for a band to play with. Since then I started learning various other instruments such as guitar, bass and also took interest once again in the piano / keys (I had also had piano lessons from a young age)

JiKay is basically the product of all of this (along with various other bands I play in) where I try to fuse elements of the wide range of music I listen to and call on a whole lifetime of musical involvement to hopefully create music that's as fun to listen to as it is to make.
