Jonathan Beckett was born and brought up in Oxfordshire. He moved to Buckinghamshire after falling in love with a rather winsome (and infinitely better looking) lass who serves as his personal organiser, his memory, and his main reason for keeping going each day. He lives in a big old house in Marlow - a quaint stereotypically “middle England” town - that continually surprises him with it’s failings. In the daytime Jonathan works as a professional software and website developer for a systems integrator. That basically means he’s one of the people who beavers away for endless hours in order to give you something to complain about when your computer doesn’t seem to work as you might expect. In his spare time, Jonathan has far too many interests (though strangely few hobbies), and too many friends to visit. This usually results in almost comical fits of stress, frustration, and cynicism - which are enjoyed immensely by the cat. Jonathan writes several blogs (at www.pluggedout.com) in order to stop himself from becoming the destroyer of worlds, and also enjoys reading and commenting on other people’s blogs.
