DJ Joshua D was born in Miami, Florida in 1988. From an early age, he became obsessed with music. Tunes with a lot of progression, heavy drums and heavy-hitting build-ups sparked his fancy, and he aspired to be like his favorite DJs.

For the last two years, he has been perfecting his technical and performance skills. He has played at many parties and events in Miami, London, New York and Beijing, and has called each of these places home for a period of time.

What sets Joshua D apart from most other DJs of his generation is his charisma, ability to read and play for a crowd, and simply his presence in a room. He can serve up beats at a million miles per hour, and shake the walls of any venue, big or small, driving people to dance and scream.

Joshua D is influenced by many of the DJs of his hometown of Miami: Oscar G, Louis Puig, Lazardi, Robbie Rivera, David Tort, and Boris to name a few. He is supported by DJs both large and small, and has a following of fans from across the globe.
