I have too many ambitions and not enough plans. I'm a clueless idealist, and I don't care that my hopes are unrealistic. I want to save the world, but since I know I can't do that, I want to make as big a difference in the world as I can in as many ways as possible.
I want to work with kids, I want to help the homeless, I want to help people find their answers... I want to create change so that I don't have to fear for the generations that will follow me...
I am Here for:
the simple exposure, I suppose. I am told that this can be a forum for like minds to gather... I hope that isn't restricted to the minds stuck on sex and finding 'someone'.
Hobbies:
When I'm up: reading, writing poetry and essays, hiking, kayaking, scrambling, crafty things, going to bookstores and picking up random books to read there... I like knowing things, I like discovering things, but most of all I like socializing... talking with people and learning more about them...

too too many... a few: Stranger than Fiction, Interstate 60, Donny Darko, Nightmare Before Christmas
Favorite TV Shows:
Seinfield, CSI (Vegas and Miami), Simpsons, Futurama, History Channel, Discovery Channel, HGTV, Spike and Court TV - though I don't have cable right now, so I'm not watching much of tv
Favorite Music:
Oldies but goodies... I like most everything- but I am kind of a snob when it comes to lyrics... I don't want to hear about violence or sex, so I don't listen to most rap, but every once in a while I'm exposed to something like Eminem's "Stan" or Ludicrous "runaway love"
Favorite Books:
the "For Dummies", "idiot's guide", "KISS" collections... I prefer books that tell me how to do things, though fiction is good too.... Sandman Collection, V for Vendetta, books that make me think
I Love:
People, which is why I want to help them. Food, so I need to learn to cook. Colors, because they make life beautiful. Art, because it's expressive of what we are. Life, because it's all we have right now.
I Hate:
Hypocrisy, even though we all are guilty sometimes. Stupidity, because it's harmful to everyone. Forwards and chainmail, because they're just a pain in the @$$.
