Born on August 10th, in Brooklyn New York. I was the youngest of three children in my family. My mother was a teacher and my father a tailor who both hail from Guyana. My parents moved to Brooklyn NY in 1971 and later relocated to Queens NY where I spent my high school years at Jamaica high school. I was active on various sports teams and a member of the play production club. During my junior year I evolved into a full-blown movie buff. I often spent time at the movie theater with family and friends.
