invalid_text "My thoughts on Racial Prejudice" I will start off by saying, A writer im not, But I will give this a whirl so to speak.... Life is too short, Its senseless to hate someone because of their skin color or because they are much different than you are, None of us had a choice as to whether we were born or not. I hate Nothing at all, I do Dislike a lot of things, And if I dislike someone, its not because of their skin color! Its because of their ways... Lets face it, Some people are just stupid and do stupid things, They do things without thinking about the consequences that may arise later, Or they just dont care, and have no regard for human life whatsoever. I despise the use of the N word, in any way shape or form, Most young kids have no clue to its original meaning, If they did, I really think they would think twice before using it again, I often wonder sometimes, if they even care about its original meaning, and what an impact it has had on society. Believe it or not, Words Do Hurt! And for some people the hurt goes very deep..... So maybe you will stop and think the next time you start to say something racial? I hope so.... The world can not change for the better, by itself.... And now for something about me that may shock you... When I was a teenager I was racist, I did and said a lot of things that I regret to this day.... But one day I grew up, and learned the error of my ways, Oh how wrong I was.... It takes a Real man to admit he is or was wrong, And im not ashamed to admit it at all...... Yes, one day I woke up and smelled the roses.... And they sure smell nice! (:-D We live and learn people!
