I would say I try my best to live every day by way of 'The Serenity Prayer'. You know, the one that says "GOD grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." I also try not to judge people. I've found you never really know what drives a person until you've become more familiar with their personal set of circustances. Different things motivate different people and no one ever really knows what they're ultimately cabable of until faced with the task at hand..."never say never!" I like to have fun...I tend to laugh and 'cut-up' a lot. I try not to take myself too seriously and don't always get along well with those that do. But I also know when to get serious and what to get serious about. In fact, the best rule of thumb with me is "as long as I'm able to laugh about it, your safe. If I'm not laughing, don't play with me!" That said, I believe I know how to play nice with others and usually have fun doing so. "Nobody likes 'cuttin-up' more than me." But you know.....there's always that one (or two) who seem to want to spoil it for everybody. tisk, tisk.....And I have absolutely no tolerance whatsoever for 'phonies'! It's one thing to try and be tactful and respectful. It's another all together to be down right, unnecessarily disingenuous!

Hobbies:
'People watching"...ppl intrigue me. Like to observe, experience learn from and explore ppl of a variety of backgrounds and lifestyles. Also enjoy all kinds of music, movies, 'the outdoors', cooking (haven't killed anyone with it yet, either...lol) there's more, just ask...
Favorite Movies:
I'm a big movie fan. My favorites are action-comedy (big surprise, huh) and (don't laugh) romantic-comedies. Yeah, even a 'chick-flick', now and then.
Favorite TV Shows:
NCIS, Law And Order:SVU, Two And A Half Men, Heroes, Las Vegas, Numb3rs, Chuck, Shark, 60 Minutes, The New Adventures Of Old Christine, ER, Moonlight, Ghost Whisperer, 30 Rock, various PBS shows, etc, etc...
Favorite Music:
r&b, oldies, (mostly motown), jazz, jazz fusion, blues, comtemporary country, contemporay christian, top 40 and last but certainly not least...gospel. even a little classical and pop. I try and keep an open mind...ya' never know...
Favorite Books:
I don't read as much as l'd like to. I'm always seeing a book and saying I'm gonna read it but don't seem to get around to it. (wonder why..........NOT!!! ;] ) But when I started reading that series "Left Behind", I couldn't put it down. That was probably the last serious reading I've done (except for the occasional comic book, of course ;))

I'm kind of an affectionate kind'a guy...you know, the 'sensitive type' and all 'that'. So, I may, on occaision, express some affectionate/sensitive kind of 'stuff'. I have a tendency to say stuff like, "love ya", "luv ya" or text a bunch of x's & o's...or anything that may even remotely resemble something similiar. But, it doesn't mean I want or expect physical intimacy and/or romace (doesn't necessarily mean won't at least consider one or the other...or both, either ;] )...it's just a form of 'affection'. Don't panic!! Just means that telling you "I like you" no longer really encompasses the totality of how much you have grown to mean to me. That, at some point, I began appreciating and thinking of you more as 'family', as opposed to as just an associate or even as just a casual friend ...that's all !!
