I was born in the distant future and grew to my early teens at hyperspeed in a virtual reality simulator. Fearing that I would age to old age within a matter of years, my grandmother brought me to the present day so my cousin Wally West, The Flash, could teach me to control my powers and stop aging. I soon became known as Impulse, and upon joining the Teen Titans I took on Wally's old tag of Kid Flash. Recently I spent some time in the speedforce stopping an evil Superboy from an alternate universe from destroying the world along with the other speedsters. I was the only once to make it back. Now I have apparently aged a few years, carry the entire speedforce within me and carry the title of The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive.
