Something You Should Know About Me
When I'm not working at my "real job" - I rescue homeless feral kitties of all ages. This is a slideshow of some of the cats I've rescued over the past 14 years. Most of the time, I have been able to find good homes for the ferals but sometimes no one will adopt so, rather than going to a shelter to be euthanized if not adopted, they stay with me. All cats in this slideshow (except for the orange tabby) were 2 to 5 weeks old when I found them. As you can see, they hit the lottery - big time! The irony of this is that....all my life....I didn't even like cats. I attribute my total reversal to either menopause or alien abduction, right? What else could it be? ;-)
If you are thinking about getting a dog or cat, please consider adopting from a shelter in your area or go to PETFINDERS dot COM to find one. Also, if you know of anyone who is considering getting a dog or cat, please ask them to consider adoption from a shelter. There are THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of homeless dogs and cats all over the U.S.A. that need homes. It really is a desperate situation.
Please spay or neuter your pets to stop the overpopulation and euthanization of unwanted dogs and cats. Thanks for taking the time to read this. >^..^<
