Harvey Bernard Gibbs Jr. walked into the Fayetteville Police Department on Saturday morning, then told officers at the front desk he was turning himself in on charges of first-degree murder. Gibbs, 35, was wanted in the shooting death of Lekeisha Denise Robinson AKA Key Weezy, 26, outside the Dog House bar on Owen Drive early Wednesday morning. The shooting occurred some time around 2:20 a.m., in the parking lot near the bar, as a large crowd had gathered for a fight, according to police Lt. G.M. Urian. It was unclear whether Robinson was the actual target, or if she was just struck while standing in the crowd. It also was unclear whether Robinson and Gibbs knew each other. Police obtained a warrant for Gibbs on Friday, and said he should be considered armed and dangerous. He had a previous armed robbery conviction. Gibbs, of the 5900 block of Dalton Road, was employed as a cook at Buffalo Wild Wings at the time of his arrest, according to the warrant. He is in the Cumberland County Jail without bail. The first call of a fight came into the Police Department around 2:16 a.m., according to Urian. The caller said two or three men had guns. Then, the reports continued to escalate until 2:18 a.m., when shots were fired. The crowd scattered, with reports of people running in all directions. Some hid in trees. When officers arrived, they found Robinson lying in the road on Dallas Street, which connects with Owen Drive near The Dog House. An unnamed witness tried to help resuscitate Robinson, Urian said. Officers initially detained three men. But they were questioned and released.

It's hard trying to find that one person. Going around in circles, searching until you can search no more. But you can't give up hope because God has that special person waiting for you. Yes, you may be thinking of a boyfriend or girlfriend or that special soul mate, but that's not it! A Best Friend! These days they are hard to find. Sometimes you may think you have one but its not who you think it is. A Best friend Is someone who laughs with you and not at you. A Best Friend is someone who cries with you, who's always there for you when you need them the most. A Best Friend is more than a friend, they're your family.
