Something You Should Know About Me
I'm Kollie... I'm the type of kid who finds the strangest things interesting. I may live a fast life but I slow down and smell the roses quite a bit. I don't think there's anything more beautiful than ballet dancing, it has been, is, and always will be my number one passion. The love for ballet isn't what I'd call mutual but it's more motivation for me. I love sunny skies but nighttime is my favorite. I love to lie under stars but that hardly happens anymore. I hate being cold but I love being able to see my breath in the freezing air. I guess I just like to know that even though you cant see something all the time, under certain conditions it becomes bluntly clear its there. I love sand on a hot day; I could bury my feet in the sand and just sit there for hours. My favorite time of year is when the trees start to turn orange and red and the air gets brisk. I still jump in leaves, and I'm sure that won't change for a very long time. I wish it snowed more often, the white powdery pretty snow. Compliments make me feel weird, but when given by the right person it's the most amazing feeling in the world. I like to think everyone has a purpose but no one is forced to fulfill that one thing in life. Fate can only take you so far, then mind over matter kicks in and your capable of anything baby. I wish on 11:11. The world is filled with art and beauty, if you can't see that you're not looking hard enough. I guess I just see things differently than most people. To tell you the truth that makes me feel kind of sad. I wish everyone could get a chance to see things the way I do. Nothing bothers me more than how the words "I love you" are thrown around. Just because you can spell love doesn't mean you should say it nearly as much as you do. I've never fallen in love, but I certainly love. I'm very independent, and by no means think I need anyone to survive, but sometimes my imagination gets the best of me and I wonder what it'd be like if I did have someone to enjoy things with. If I had one wish, I'd wish that everyone could believe in Santa, and magic, and love again. Too many people have forgotten that magic isn't always about cards, magic is real, but your perception of magic is totally off wack. Simple things make me most happy. I love driving around by myself with the radio blasting, windows down, singing off key, and lying on the ground looking up as the clouds pass by. I think life's too short to take anything for granted not a single smile. Don't get me wrong, I'm human, I get sad, I get hurt, but I think people spend far too much time giving up and feeling sorry for themselves. Just breathing is reason enough to keep going. I live for moments that leave me breathless. I dream, and I dream big. I'm not anything special, but I'm aware I'm not like most people. I don't make it a point to stand out, nor do I try to blend in.
