My name is Kirk and I attend Riverside High School as a senior in the class of 2009.
I'm pretty tall, coming in at 6'2". What can I say, it runs in the family.
I don't play any sports, but its most likely because I'm too busy with my other life endeavors, or just because sports was never my cup of tea. Really, I'm about as coordinated as a dead turtle.
I'm a self-proclaimed genius, which is pointless because nobody believes me. Underneath, they all really know it's true though. HAH! Just kidding, really.
I have lived 17 years on extremes. I was always the best, worst, most or least. Never usually anything in between. I could never really figure out if that was a good or bad thing.
Recently, I've teamed with The Suicide Prevention Education Alliance (SPEA) of Northeast Ohio and serve as a certified instructor for their Signature Program entitled "Recognizing Adolescent Depression and Suicide Prevention." As a member of SPEA's Speaker's Bereau, I am trained to teach anyone from students, to parents and administrators the program, which provides an in-depth look at depression and suicide statistics, signs, prevention methods and a wealth of other various information. SPEA offers their suicide prevention educational program to 52 schools free of charge and relies on the generosity of the public to operate. In cooperation with SPEA, while promoting some of their fundraising endeavors, I've been featured on some of Cleveland's most prestigious media outlets including WKYC Channel 3's local live morning show, Good Company. I've also been interviewed by our local newspaper, The News-Herald, and Cleveland's most-read news source, The Plain Dealer.
I plan to write a book about my life eventually. In the meantime, I plan to live it to the fullest.
I wouldnt go as far as to say I have tons of friends, but I have a lot of people who are close to me and support me in my endeavors, completed by a loving family.
I'm single and fear committment. Jealousy and stupidity are never good relationship traits. Sadly, 80% of relationships i see are composed fully of those two elements.
I'm honestly just a nice guy, trying to be nice to the world and create a better one, at least locally for now.
I'm a sucker for good food at expensive restaurants, nice cars and overall good taste. It was the way I was brought up, and if you're dating me, you'll get nothing but the best of all.
Did I say cars? I'm big on cars. My family owns two Mercedes-Benzes: a 2005 E500 and a 2007 ML350. I own a 2007 VW Rabbit, which I'm soon going to get new wheels for as soon as I start making money again, plus hopefully a new intake, headers, and an exhaust system. I'm a self-proclaimed Mercedes/German car fanatic, and can name any price range, hp rating, and torque rating for any MB out there. If you have a ride worth mentioning, talk to me.
I have alot of inspirations in my day-to-day life, and my two big idols are Dr. Drew Pinski and Adam Carolla.
But I really think my biggest motivator for the time being is Andy Lehman. As I say, I'm doing your homework, man. May you rest in peace.
I've made some bad choices in my life, but forgiveness is always there, and redemption didn't come too late, either.
Being myself has always been my strong suit. Take my advice. Be who you are, and don't try to be anybody else. Be yourself.
Wanna talk?
